Corrosion Prevention
Backed by our strong industry track record, the Group has a reputation as a trusted partner for high quality, reliable and efficient corrosion prevention services that consistently meet our customers’ needs. It is this unyielding commitment to total quality standards that has allowed the Group to gain greater market differentiation in the corrosion prevention field, and forge long-standing relationships with our major customers, many of whom have been with us for more than 20 years.
Our total quality approach centres on three key areas – process, equipment, and people. To ensure our services meet the stringent technical requirements of our customers, we have a comprehensive quality management system that covers the entire blasting and painting process.
Quality inspections are carried out after each stage of the surface preparation process and painting process. This ensures conformity to the specifications of established international industry standards such as the Swedish SIS 05 59 00 1967 blasting standards, ISO8501-1:1988 standards, British BS4232 standards, American Steel Structures Painting Council standards and the American National Association Corrosion Engineers standards.
At the core of See Hup Seng’s quality and reliable services are our state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, supported by the concerted efforts of our highly-skilled quality workforce. Our plants are fully-equipped with auto blasting and painting equipment, profile machines as well as manual blasting chambers, which are well-maintained and efficient. We also recognise the need to attract and retain quality people, and place great emphasis on continual training and upgrading to equip them with the necessary technical skills and knowledge.
Refined Petroleum Distribution
At TAT Petroleum, our top priority is on ensuring the quality of the refined petroleum products that we deliver to our all valued customers meet their requirements and expectations.
Since September 2005, our packaging facility has been awarded the ISO9001:2000 certification by SGS United Kingdom Ltd in recognition of our quality management system in the distribution and filling of petrochemical products. This certification is an endorsement of TAT Petroleum’s stringent quality standards, and adds to our credential as a strategic distributor of a wide range of products for ExxonMobil in Asia Pacific.
Our packaging facility is equipped with cutting-edge filling and blending systems that enable efficient filling and good control of product quality. To ensure our finished packaged products conform to our marketing specifications, we conduct quality checks at various stages of our blending/filling process. Quality control sampling is performed on products provided by our suppliers before being blended or filled into smaller packages. Likewise, our finished packaged products are analysed using established international testing methods before storage in our warehouse or distribution to designated locations. To facilitate our internal quality control sampling and analysis of refined petroleum products, TAT Petroleum has an on-site laboratory that is equipped with specialised and high quality testing equipment. We are also one of only three distributors of ExxonMobil worldwide that has an approved clean-room facility for packaging medicine white oil.
TAT Petroleum also places equally strong emphasis on prompt and efficient delivery of our products to customers. Our operations are supported by a fleet of flat-bed trucks, tanker trucks and iso tankers that delivers packaged and bulk products to our customers’ premises in different parts of Singapore. In addition, our established network of local sub-distributors and resellers in various parts of the Asia Pacific region helps to ensure prompt delivery to our customers overseas.
